Our Product Line

Consists of liquid extracts, tonics, supplements, ointments, creams and natural speciality feeds.

Liquid extracts & tinctures

These consist of concentrated extracts of herbs. Only small amounts are to be orally administered. These are rapidly absorbed into the blood stream. May be added to the feed or syringed directly onto the tongue. Our Tinctures are concentrated and only small doses are required.

Hira Ashwagandha	Withania somnifera. True rejuvenating herb. Particularly suitable for older pets and during times of stress. An adaptogenic herb and can regulate important physiological processes. Sitoindosides enhance pathogenic-destroying phagocytes. Ashwagandaholine has calming properties.
Hira Chamomile Calm	From organically grown Matricaria recutita flowers Mildly calming particularly suitable for pets that don't travel well. Mildly soothing and maybe given daily for minor skin conditions.
Hira Devil's Claw	Harpogophytum procumbens. Helps lower blood pressure.Bitter principles act to stimulate liver, gall bladder and lower blood sugar. Devil’s Claw stimulates uterine muscles and should not be given to pregnant animals.
Hira Gingko	Herbal bronchiodilator and blood thinner. Reduces clastogenic factors after exposure to radiation. Suitable for pets with bronchial and minor skin conditions.
Hira Pet-Ech Echinacea purpurea	Stimulates the immune system. Increases the body's ability to fight infection. Increases white and red cell production. Add drops to your pet's drinking water. Contact us for dosages.
Hira Eye Bright	Euphrasia officinalis.Taken regularly is said to strengthen the eyesight Used internally as a general tonic.
Hira Happy Hound & Cat (Hypericum perforatum)	Hypericum perforatum. Natures comfort herb. St John's Wort increases levels of seratonin which is responsible for feelings of contentment. Suitable for treating compulsive repetitive disorders ie cats that urinate indoors. May help with behaviour modification and during times of stress.
Hira Calm Hound & Cat (Valerian officinalis tincture)	Fast acting short term herbal calmer assists in relaxing muscles. Contains Valeriana officinalis. Feed drops to pet 1 hour before travelling or when anxious.
Hira Seda-Pet	This concentrated blend of plant substances act as nerve tonics for the brain, muscular, digestive and skin systems. A concentrated calming blend containing some of the following: chamomile, vervain, hops, scullcap.
Hira Scullcap	Mildly calming. May be used for anxiety attacks.
Hira Vitex Agnes	Acts on luteinising hormone. Suitable for hormonal difficulties in cats and dogs.
Hira Yarrow	Has anti-angiogenesis properties. Flavonoids in yarrow flowers encourage circulation, lowers blood pressure and strengthens vascular walls. It's main active ingredient being thujone make it suitable for the treatment of some minor skin conditions.

Hira Arnica Cream	A cream consisting of arnica oil. May be used as a soothing cream for skin. Not to be used on broken skin.. Concentrated blend of macerated arnica petals
Hira Calendula Cream	A soothing cream with calendula and evening primrose oil. Increases oxygen levels to minor skin conditions. Suitable for the regeneration of hair where there are bald patches.
Hira Hyperdula Cream	A blend of St John's Wort and Calendula suitable for minor skin irritations and as a general topical cream. Generally soothing.
Hira Joint Cream	A massage cream suitable for use on limbs and muscle groups. Contains capsaicin which stimulates the production of substance P which helps reduce discomfort.
St John's Cream	A cream with concentrated levels of St John's Wort extract. Acts on nerve endings and suitable for use on minor skin conditions.
Hira Hyperdula Spray	This sterile spray consists of a blend of calendula and St John's Wort. May be used around minor skin conditions
Hira Fur Spray	This spray consisting of essential oils may be applied to skin.
Hira Omega Oil Complex	A specially balanced blend of Omega oils for cats and dogs. Contains macerated concentrate of a range of herbs, oil-soluble vitamin C and E . 3-5 drops per kg to be added to feed daily. Particularly suited to minor skin conditions. Formulated to balance the prostaglandins E1 and 3 against E2 Bottled in dark glass.
