The Horse Corner is located in Richmond Nelson and was established by owner / manager Sue Clark.

A bit about Sue

Sue is originally from Zimbabwe where we she had 450,000 acres to ride over. Horses have been a part of her life since the age of five. For 12 years she owned a similar saddlery shop on the outskirts of Oamaru, North Otago, called The Totara Tack Room.

Sue then moved to Nelson for the weather and fabulous beaches. She belongs to the Nelson Riding Club, the Nelson Dressage Group and she competes in Dressage.

She recently lost her lovely Irish Draught mare Sam and now owns a 6 yr old bay gelding called Wally....who has to be very careful not to stand on the new impish pup Wurzel (mini Schnauzer).

Sue believes there is a definite call for a second hand equestrian shop especially for the children who grow out of their gear so quickly.

The Horse Corner stock Western gear as well as English and can order anything you need if they haven't got it in stock.
